TEACHERS  COURSE  

Teach the Teacher Level 1 & 2

Teach the Teacher course will introduce you to the basics of Tribal Style Belly Dance. This format has proved to be helpful in learning how to develop class structure & move progression, from basics to intermediate.

It is important for you as a Teacher to understand the Lanuange of Tribal.

This language is a universal language in the world of Tribal Style Belly Dancing.

I will give you the movements, language, structure & business skills.
Broken down into sessions pertaining to skill level.

All sessions will include discussion on what makes a good teacher, learning to speak clear & breaking down each move.

Understanding  how to lead a class through warm ups & stretching & what to do to raise the energy in the class.

Drilling moves in different directions. Learning to read the body language of Tribal Style. Teaching encouragement & positive reinforcement with correction. Problem solving, voice projection with confidence.

Learn how to develop a curriculum to suit your class & interporating the music.

( Each teacher is expected to complete all Basics 1-4  Student Tribal Workshop, before doing the Teach the Teacher Workshops. This is included in the price.)

 Teach the Teacher Level   1 -  4 hours

You will learn briefly the history of American Tribal Style Belly Dance, Warm ups, cues, language, body awareness, movement direction, basic moves, first variation, drills patterns & partner work, voice projection with confidence. Understanding the music.

Teach the Teacher Level   2  -  4 hours

Class format structure will be a big part of this session.

How to incorporate-Tribal Style Ethics in dance, Cues and transitions.

How to build on Basic moves & Drill patterns, Group dynamics & Chorus lines. Personal Styles, interpretation of techniques, Goals to set.

Studio sign in procedures, Waivers & Business principals.

Teach the Teacher Accreditation  -   2 hours

In this 2 hour session you will be tested on your understanding of how to teach this style from warm ups to Language and Layering techniques.

Cues & transitions, basic Rhythms patterns, movement & drill patterns.

A short assignment will be written on what makes a good teacher and how to do a  structured program for your class.
